Meet the Family
The FAMILY consists of a combination of two families. Jerry was married to Joyce on June 21, 1997. Jerry is retired from an aerospace company and plays and works on the computer. Joyce is a real estate appraiser for her own company. Jerry has a son, Kevin, and a daughter, Heidi. Kevin married Lila in September, 2000. Kevin graduated from UC Santa Barbara and now works for a dotcom in Redwood City where they bought Kevin's grandmother's house. Lila replaced working as an interior designer to become a mother of Nicolas and Tyler. Heidi married Dan in March, 2005 and live in the area. Heidi is an aspiring artist and works half-time plus in the office of a plumbing company in the area to manage motherhood of Danielle. Dan is a certified real estate appraiser and works with Joyce.
Joyce has three sons, Colby, Bryan and Barry. Colby and Courtney were married in July, 1996 and bought a new house in the area; Colby and Courtney graduated from UC Santa Barbara and Colby received a law degree from Santa Clara University and is a corporate lawyer. Courtney works as a recruiter and became a mother of Ciera and Summer. Bryan graduated from Long Beach State with an English major. Bryan is a certified real estate appraiser and also works with Joyce. Bryan and Shannon were married in August, 2006. Shannon graduated from San Jose State and is a teacher for a private school. Bryan and Shannon live in the area and are parents of Jake in April, 2008 and Mason in August, 2011. Barry graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder majoring in Architecture after a remarkable recovery in the summer of 2001 from a Severe Head Injury. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania graduate program in Architecture and is now working for an architectural firm in Southern California.
Activities
The primary purpose for this web site is to chronicle some of the adventures of our family and to share with you some pictures of our family and their favorite activities. All of the major activities for the family are being stored in yearly photo albums. Check out Photo Albums for the years 2000-2011
Announcements
Joyce and I hosted the family for a Mothers Day Brunch.
Joyce and I and family and friends joined Kevin, Lila and Tyler for Nicolas's First Communion.
Joyce and I joined Bryan, Shannon, Jake, Mason and Barry on the big island, Hawaii for a week vacation.
The family celebrated Easter a week early at the grandparents house
Rick and Lorraine joined Joyce and I in Nuevo Vallarta in September.
Mason Cade arrived at 10:42pm on August 27th. He weighed in at 9lbs 6oz and 22 inches long.
The family (all 17 of us) celebrated five birthdays at a Lake Tahoe Vacation.
The family celebrated Tyler's 3rd Birthday.
The family celebrated Ciera's 7th and Summer's 3rd Birthdays at a swim party.
Ciera, Summer, Danielle, Colby and Courtney performed in the Action Day School Play.
Joyce and I joined Shannon's friends and relatives to celebrate a Shannon Baby Shower in Morgan Hill.
Rain or not, the family enjoyed Danielle's 4th Birthday.
Colby, Courtney, Ciera and Summer joined Joyce and I in Nuevo Vallarta.
Relatives and friends enjoyed Jake's Birthday Party with a jumpy house.
Sherry arranged a long weekend at Disneyland for the following persons: Kerry, Jeff, Jordy, Kenzi, Bryan, Shannon and Jake. Joyce and Jerry also joined the party and Wayne, Tikie and Barry did cameo appearances.
The Millers, Romeros and Gibsons enjoyed a week on the big island of Hawaii. There are 266 photos thanks to Lorraine's additions.
